Violon et Champignon

Violon et Champignon is a farm, located at Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, that specialises in the cultivating as well as wild-picking of edible mushrooms, and also in the production of mycelium, along with mixed farming.

This enterprise, started in 2012 by Vincent Leblanc, is born out of the numerous innovative agricultural systems that Mr. Leblanc had designed and tested out for more than 15 years.  He is indeed known as one of the most creative and dynamic mushroom growers anywhere.
During the summer season, Violon et Champignon offers around 15 types of gourmet mushrooms and derived products.

Products sold at Marché Fermier

Wild and cultivated mushrooms, growing kits, mycelium
Vegetable that grow alongside the mushrooms : Garlic, kale, fine herbs.
From the forest: wild blueberries and other berries, fiddleheads, cattails,  Labrador tea, edible wild flowers, wild spices. 
Prepared products : cream of mushroom soup, risotto with mushrooms, dried mushroom soup mix, marinated cattail hearts.
