The ChâteauBar Farm
What is the ChâteauBar farm? Well it is us, José Sicotte-Doddridge and Gabrielle Verville, a couple of old city dwellers. Having always an ecological conscience, a palate developed for gastronomy and a great passion for gardening, we made the leap to agriculture in summer of 2015, buying a lot of land in Danville in the Eastern Townships. Since our first season in 2016, Farm ChâteauBar offers about sixty kinds of fruits, vegetables and aromatic herbs harvested without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, while respecting nature. In addition, we are currently preparing the arrival of a small herd of Mangalitsa pigs in pasture. Our mission is to promote local ecological agriculture.
It is possible to purchase the products in ASC baskets.
