Fromagerie Ruban Bleu Recipes
1 pound ground lamb meat
¼ cup cottage cheese or cottage cheese
Grated zest of one lime
1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
¼ cup minced fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Preheat grill to medium. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together. Mix well and shape into 4 patties about ½ inch thick. Oil the grill and cook on the barbecue, the liddown, until patties are firm and the juices so clear, 7-10 minutes per side. Do not overcook. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite condiments. Very good with only a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato, fresh herbs perfume this burger. Makes 4 servings.
